When I checked on IC Markets, I keep seeing these 'low latency' things. Since I am a newbie, I don't really understand what does it means. Although I know that it can help me regarding order executions. But, could you help me answer the meaning of having a low latency? Also, how does it help me when it comes to trading?

So I guess I'm gonna share my experience here. I have some problems regarding a trading account. In the past, I have been trying to start trading but backed out. As a result, I have two unfounded trading accounts in IC Markets. Now, I am more prepared and I decided to start trading again. But, it's kinda hard for me since I already have those accounts. Luckily, customer service helps me. They assist me quite well actually, now I can start trading again. I have finally funded my account for real this time.

My friends have been recommending cTrader copy trading for quite some time now. Honestly, it does sound really good after I did some research on several platforms, especially since it comes from IC Markets. But, the thing is, I want to apply to be a strategy provider. I have some experience and I am pretty sure I can do it. I want to know how I apply and how much commission can I get from each client.

I have tried both MT4 and cTrader trading platforms in the broker. While I know the two are technically different trading platforms, I still want to see if there is anything different between the two. Sadly I haven't got the time to try on the MT5 platforms, so this review might be slightly incomplete. In terms of spread, both accounts are similar. There is not much difference as the two work similarly during market volatility, and the spread stays close. However, the cTrader has lower commission fees. So, I think it is a better platform if you are looking for a cheaper option. On the other hand, I feel like my experience with MT4 is much smoother.

Do the stocks CFD only available on MT5? What about MT4 and cTrader?

I'm a new trader and I have been thinking of trying out stock CFD trading in IC Markets.

However, before this, I had only been trying a demo account with another broker to teach myself a few things about trading platforms.

I have been really used to MT4, so I wonder why the stock CFD only lists MT5 as the available trading platform.

They keep claiming to provide low latency, but I keep getting bad slippage. I wonder if the problem is with my device or not, so I checked it.

Lo and behold! It wasn't my fault.

I guess they didn't execute the order as quickly as they did before, or they are forcing me to buy VPS. I know that they have free VPS service but I don't know if I can fulfill the requirement.

I think it's great that IC Markets provide trading services on both PC and mobile as well. But, I found that they also provide a mobile trading platform for both Android and iOS. Now, I own both an android phone and iPhone, I use them at the same time.

For people who have been using this service for a while, can you guys tell me if there is any lag or error that occurs for this app? I want to make sure this app is reliable for trading.

Now, I know that IC Markets is an Australian broker and I happen to understand that they offer Indices as well. I wonder if they also provide Australian indices for trading? I would be particularly interested in trading this. However, I also hope that IC Markets have a low spread for this as well. Another broker tends to have ridiculous spreads and I don't want that for sure.

One of the worst things happened to me after the non-farm payroll release. I got requote, not only once but TWICE. It is really bothering me because it messed up all my plan for real. I was waiting for this particular moment and everything fall apart just because of technical issues. Yes, this is the first time it happened so I am willing to let it go. But I truly hope IC Markets can fix their technical issues. Times like this are where the broker's quality shines through.

Y'all I just wanna share my experience with this broker. It is one of the best trading experiences I have had so far, I swear it. I was originally attracted to this broker because they have a super low spread. But, I almost changed my opinion when I had some problems. At the time I thought it was useless to tell the customer service support about this since none of them ever did anything. But, after a while I decided to try. I was surprised when they did something. I know it's only the 'bare minimum, but I am still very happy nonetheless.
